As promised yesterday, the following are more pictures from our recent AZ trip. We'll start out with a few more birds and then get into the creatures.
Another picture of the red cardinal, this time contrasting nicely in the palo verde tree against the brilliant blue sky.

We all also took a guided tour of the desert. It was more interesting than I thought it would be. And guess what? It was a three hour tour. Only in the desert. Not in the ocean. Never mind.
We saw a big mule deer.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtsScfWRSNV1sWh7THKvkMBmdvFUvu0y5BYWgkpGODD_2VHJy-NLkMJDPSkEwSlB8tAIssjLEYwPXb9ZcCa8BlNbj3N5yXBRHgzAPIKVg10EbSJCcxzhchUtGaytFpQ0sHmvLYEuRO7srj/s400/AZ+trip+5+01+08+083.jpg)

I have enjoyed them alot. We have spent some time in the Arizona desert and your pictures have brought back some wonderful memories. Sorry it's taken me awhile to comment, but I have really enjoyed the shots!
