Due to the circumstances surrounding the impending sale of our home, my only nod to Halloween this year were my Jack-O-Lantern earrings.
We will be handing candy out if we get any kids. Oh, I know we'll get at least one! ;-)
And also since tomorrow, November 1, is the beginning of the "Check Before You Burn" season we are burning in our fireplace tonight, even though it was a most beautiful day today and the current temperature is 69ยบ! Yeah, we have all our windows open and I think the ceiling fans will be coming on shortly, but so what.

LOL, I know exactly where your head is. We didn't get a fire, though I thought about it.
Oh-My-Goodness! What a load of you-know-what! We are lucky enough to live in an area that doesn't limit wood stove burning. They do sometimes limit the open burning (like bonfires and burn barrel use) when the weather gets too dry. Never for emissions. I bet you can't wait to get to Oregon!
